Cat Croxford is a self-taught artist who has been painting and drawing all her life. She finds her inspiration from nature near and far, including the Berkshire Downs and South Oxfordshire Chilterns. Cat also paints views of European woodlands and gardens found on her travels. Working in acrylic, Cat paints the changing light of the seasons, attracted to strong contrasts, rich colours and natural patterns. Her intent is to create paintings that might be the beginning of a story, a pathway, or window that leads to something hidden in our imagination or memories.
View portfolioCat participated in the 2024 series of Sky Art's Landscape Artist of the Year. You can see her submission, long with many other paintings, during her exhibition of work at The Caversham Picture Framer 17th February - 30th March 2024
