Francesca is a fantastic local printmaker and multi-media artist. She has a particular emphasis on creating art to be more at one with herself, and loves to impart the healing power of art to others.
Early influences came with her work as a scenic painter with the BBC, where her technical skill and flexibility of approach was honed under immense time pressures to fulfil the diverse creative visions of the directors on set.
Francesca then concentrated on developing her career as a fine artist and has since enjoyed great commercial and critical success. Her work is widely exhibited across the United Kingdom and Europe and her paintings are in private collections around the world.
“I really believe in the power of the healing process of art and anyone can access that. We all have creative parts in our mind and can access that in the right environment, and I feel being in nature can really aid that process.
“It’s how I forget about the craziness of the world and being at one with yourself.”
