Alda June is an artist and printmaker living and working in Sonning, UK. Printmaking is the centre of her practice, a space where time can slow and meaning gathers through process. She works across etching, drypoint, monoprint, and chine collé, allowing each technique to shape the image in its own way.
Her work moves between the female body, animals, and natural forms. She often returns to fragments, hands, faces, partial figures, as if searching for what cannot be seen all at once. These images exist somewhere between the observed and the imagined, attentive to what the body carries beneath the skin and to what remains unspoken.
Alda June studied architecture in Berlin before enrolling in the Online Drawing Development Year with the Royal Drawing School. She has exhibited numerous times in London and completed a printmaking residency at Dumfries House in Scotland.
