Having practiced for over 20 years, Clare Davis is a multidisciplinary artist with a Master's degree in Illustration, working across printmaking, illustration and fine art. Her practice explores the relationship between shape, colour and composition, drawing inspiration from birds, landscapes and the natural world. Influenced by her background in illustration, her fine art distills familiar scenes into bold, graphic forms, using colour and negative space to create prints that evoke movement, balance and a sense of place.
