Berenice was born in Surrey in 1944. From a young age, she studied ballet and classical guitar. You can see the movement of dance and music within her paintings.
Berenice explored ideas of abstraction from the likes of Picasso and Matisse, before developing her own unique style that reflected her passion for movement and rhythm.
She participated in over 40 exhibitions before her tragic and untimely death of an asthma attack at the age of 39. The legacy she left is a truely amazing collection of artworks.
