We have developed The Caversham Print Club in order to create a community focused art group in the centre of Caversham, Reading. It has all the specialist equipment for printmaking enabling you to produce etched and relief editioned prints to a professional standard. However, the Club is much more than that. Together enthusiasts and artists can meet in a beautiful workshop. They can create alongside each other, learning and developing skills and ideas, without the isolation inherent in working alone in home studios.
The Caversham Print Club is available for anyone with an interest in printmaking. We are a growing community of artists, both professionals and enthusiasts, that love this artistic discipline. Club Meets
Open access is available to everyone whatever your artistic medium.
It will cost £6 per hour to use the space
+£6 to use the press ((press bed is 1200 x 635mm and can accommodate prints over A1 in size if necessary)
+£6 to use our inks, tissue, and newsprint
+£6 to use other etching equipment including: hotplates, aquatint, and nitric acid bath
+ plate and paper can be bought separately through Buy Online.
If this is your first time using a piece of equipment sometime will be used to be inducted on the machinery before use.
Exclusive use of the studio is granted to groups of 6-8. If less than 6 and exclusive use is required, there is a minimum charge of £30 per hour. Everyone must be at least 16 years of age.
