We have developed The Caversham Print Club in order to create a community focused art group in the centre of Caversham, Reading. It has all the specialist equipment to produce etched and relief editioned prints to a professional standard. However, the Club is much more than that. Together enthusiasts and artists can meet in a beautiful workshop. They can create alongside each other, learning and developing skills and ideas, without the isolation inherent in working alone in home studios.
The Caversham Print Club is available for anyone with an interest in creating prints. We are a growing community of artists, both professionals and enthusiasts, that love this artistic discipline. What's on?
If you are a professional artist looking for a space for editioning the print club is for you. The studio is setup with all the professional kit required for high quality prints (press bed is 1200 x 635mm and can accommodate prints over A1 in size if necessary). We specialise in zinc plate etching with nitric acid and have hotplates and an aquatint box. Our press can also be used for relief and letterpress printing.
