From a commissioned portrait of Yehudi Menhin in the 1980s to images of the Whistlebinkies folk group led by her friend the composer Eddie Maguire, through colourful images of Philadelphia jazz and blues musicians, music performance fascinated Coulouris. Here it combines with her interest in city spaces as she depicts a street accordionist intent on his work in the streets of Edinburgh.
